Come visit the historic Fort Fisher, the point of defense keeping Wilmington safe!

You can see artifacts that remain at the fort and walk the grounds. Fort Fisher was the last remaining stronghold for Confederacy during the Civil War, and ultimately was turned over to Union control in January 1865.
