My wife and I came down to visit our daughter and son in law who live in Wilmington. This place was great for us. Beach 1 block away. Walk in shower with 2 rain shower heads and a built-in seat. Not only an indoor kitchen but an outdoor also. We ate out but it looked fully equipped if you want to cook. Large deck and outdoor shower. More things to do than you can possibly see in one week. We had a great time at this lovely little beach cottage! The place looks just like the photos, and it’s a two-minute or less walk to the nearest beach entrance. It’s located on a quiet street right off the main road, so you get the convenience of the proximity of the beach without the noise. Having an outdoor shower with cold or warm water and a bench to sit on is a definite plus. The fenced backyard made it relaxing to bring our dogs with us. The only problem was I found it difficult to find some of the info that I needed when I needed it. For instance, I couldn’t find any central place online with ALL the info about amenities, what they provide, etc., which made it more difficult than necessary to pack despite numerous texts from them before and during the stay. Please be advised that they don’t provide more than one garbage bag for the kitchen, so you should bring some from home. Also, there are NO basic condiments, not even salt and pepper, in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time at Carolina Beach and were able to bring the fur babies! House was wonderful! We had a storm on Friday morning that was pretty bad and it blew open the front screen door and broke it and I did send a message to the realtor letting them know….I hated that happened and will assist in helping pay to replace.
