The house was perfect with the beach right in the back yard. We enjoyed the pool and the fire pit. We did have to wait past our check in time because the house wasn’t ready and I had to clean all the windows in order to see the ocean. Other than that everything was wonderful! Had a great stay at this Carolina Beach property.
Check-in was very easy with the keypad entry, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay. The beach access, clean pool, and views were wonderful. While most restaurants would require a short drive, there is a fun tiki bar about a 15-minute walk down the beach, which was a great outing.
A couple of things future guests may want to plan for: there weren’t any beach towels or beach chairs provided (there are pool chairs). Since we flew in, we didn’t bring any and had to purchase them locally. Also, the exterior stairs could benefit from a bit more lighting at night, and guests should be aware there are several stairs to access the property. None of these were major issues, but good to know ahead of time.
