We booked our stay for 13-20SEP2025 at a condo in the beach that allowed a dog to stay in the property. Unfortunately the owner did not inform Carolina Beach Realty that the HOA did not allow pets and the HOA called Carolina Beach Realty. Nick called us on September 6 and gave us 3 other options and we choose Island Escape 3, which was across the street from Kure Beach and 300 feet to Carolina Beach access at Alabama Street. Linens, towels, shampoo, and other amenities were provided. The AC worked well. All of the furniture was clean and comfortable. We stayed in Sandbridge VA Beach last year and the furniture was worn out! The cottage on the third floor had a nice view, but did take some effort to carry out stuff in and out of the cottage. The owners were very nice. The backyard is fenced, which allowed our dog some freedom to wander off leash. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked well for us, although we only used the master bedroom in the back. The wifi worked well, which allowed me to keep up with work. There are many restaurants within a short drive. Thank you Carolina Beach Realty and Island Escape 3 for a very nice vacation!

Thank you, James. I’m sorry the owner didn’t disclose the HOA pet restriction — that shouldn’t have happened. I’m glad Nick was able to offer alternatives and that Island Escape 3 met your needs — linens, amenities, AC, comfortable furniture, fenced yard, and reliable Wi‑Fi. Great, Great, Great! Location, location, location! Literally a hop, skip and jump to the beach. Great view of the ocean even though it’s across the street. It has everything you need for a family (of 6) gathering! Communication was great and we were lucky enough to meet the owners who just happened to be in town. Overall A++++
