Blueberry Bungalow is a beautifully furnished oceanfront duplex designed to be your perfect home away from home. With a wide-open floor plan, connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room, this luxury retreat is ideal for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped, making meal preparation effortless, whether you're cooking indoors or grilling outside. After dinner, unwind with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on one of the oceanfront decks, take in the sunset, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the lighted swimming pool. Modern conveniences such as an elevator, a full-size washer and dryer, and an extra refrigerator/freezer on the ground level ensure a comfortable and stress-free stay.

This spacious five-bedroom, four-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests. The master suite boasts breathtaking ocean views, a private deck, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom, while additional bedrooms offer a mix of King, Queen, and bunk beds to suit any group. All bedrooms and the living room have Samsung high-definition smart TVs, between 42” and 50”, so you can stream your favorite movies and shows from your account at streaming services. The second floor living room also has a large seating area, from which you can see the ocean, with board games and puzzles, and access to a private covered deck with dining table and ample seating, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day on the beach.

As one half of a duplex, Blueberry Bungalow shares a pool and private beach access with the neighboring unit (which is no longer on a rental program), providing direct entry to the pristine shoreline of Kure Beach. With two ocean front decks, a streetside balcony, and a foosball table for entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The property offers parking for up to four cars, an outdoor shower, and a gas grill for easy outdoor dining. Whether you're soaking up the sun, playing in the surf, or relaxing by the pool, Blueberry Bungalow offers the ultimate beachside escape.

The home is located within one mile of the Kure Beach Town Center, where you can fish from the famous Kure Beach fishing pier. At the Town Center there are great restaurants like Jack Mackerel’s Island Seafood, Freddy's Italian (since 1940), and Big Daddy's Seafood Buffet.

Blueberry Bungalow sits within two miles of the NC State Aquarium at Fort Fisher, with its marine life touch pool for kids and adults, and the famous albino allegator. Across the street from the Aquarium are the remnants of the Fort Fisher confederate civil war site, a must for history buffs.

Or walk up the beach half a mile from the home into Carolina Beach to the Tiki Bar Pier, a great casual beach bar, or visit the famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk with live music and weekly fireworks in season. Take a half-day or full-day deep-sea fishing trip from one of dozens of boats. For a change of pace, take the 30-minute car ferry ($7 per car) from Kure Beach to the charming historic town of Southport across the Cape Fear River, where numerous movies have been filmed.

Wilmington is a 25-minute drive away with its fantastic Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River. Enjoy great restaurants and shopping, and one of the largest historic districts in the country, with antebellum homes open for tours, and the battleship North Carolina, also open to explore.

Lovely home, very comfortable and well appointed, great location. Beautiful beach. Close, but not too close, to tons of great restaurants, shops and the boardwalk. We had great beach days. The pool was a nice alternative. We hiked the local state park, took the ferry on our drive to Calabash, and lunched in Wilmington. A generous selection of board games we took advantage of during rainy days. Something we weren't sure if we liked, but ended up being good with a preschooler: the lower level bedroom is the only access to the pool and beach access. Sometimes, when they weren't awake in the lower bedroom, we ended up walking the public beach access to get to the beach. It is literally right outside the front door, so not a big deal. We really appreciated a pet free property as an option. Kure Beach and surrounding area is so lovely, and we've only scratched the surface in the couple of years we've visited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Bunglalow. Only negatives was the Master Bed/Master Bath electric kept tripping the breaker on the electrical panel. Basically had no electricity for the entire stay. Once breaker was reset, would only last about 10 minutes. We reported this and were told others have reported this issue as well.

Everything with the house was great. Our neighbors in the duplex were considerate during the day with the use of the pool, but two nights of our four night stay, they partied loudly until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning at the pool.

The house was well laid out, the pool was small but was fun for the kids. The house was well furnished and the location was great. There is a lifeguard station right next to the walkway on the beach so there is a better feel of security. Everything was clean and useful.

Excellent communication host, wonderful location

We stayed an extended weekend a group of families with small children. Top of this is the excellent communication and planning by the host, Carolina Beach Reality! Kudos ! Secondly, the location is awesome on the beach with direct private access and a private pool! This is a million dollar property so everything in it suits it. Good there level layout. The property is technically a townhouse so it shares the driveway and the pool with the other unit but we had no issues with it. Our stay was awesome and we felt extraordinarily. On the criticism side we would only mention the lack of toilet paper and other assumed to be provided, but we had a back up. Other than that no other complaints only 5star rate about the property and the host! Highly recommended!
