We rented both sides of Salty Banana. The space was great for a large group of people. The staff at Carolina Beach Realty were very attentive and responsive to our needs. We used the hot tubs until we couldn't. One of them had a heating problem after the first day. The second one turned green and wasn't heating very well toward the end of the week so we couldn't use it the last couple of days. It was a holiday week but maintenance still came out and tried to fix reported problems. We felt the cleaning crew could do a better job cleaning bathrooms and floors. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen to be in need of some updates and new pots and pans. Despite the negatives, they were outweighed by the positives. We loved the house, the location, and the weather.

Our extended family rented both sides of the property. We appreciated close access to the beach, bright, attractive, clean and well-kept bedrooms and kitchen supplies with lovely artistic accessories. We had assistance with a new blender when ours didnt work, and spraying for red ants that gathered near the pools between the condos and the beach. The fencing surrounding the pooling could use some attention. As well, a toddler ended up in Urgent Care after falling down the stairs due to a faulty baby gate, thus lowering the scores as reflected below.
