*PLEASE NOTE: Parking is very limited in Carolina Beach & Kure Beach. Guests are only allotted two parking spaces, and Parking Passes are required. Carolina Beach Realty (CBR) will not be held responsible for guests with more than two vehicles or for vehicles that are towed due to negligence to use parking passes. GOLF CARTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

*Starting Saturday, April 1st the Rec Center Hours of Operation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 7 days a week. April 1st will also be opening day for all three of the outdoor pools. The pool hours will be 9 a.m. to dusk. Just a reminder that the outdoor pools are not heated.*

Families can enjoy a stroll or fishing at the historic Kure Beach Pier, one of the oldest on the East Coast, or explore local history at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where kids can roam the remains of a Civil War fort. Nearby, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher offers hands-on exhibits and fascinating marine life. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, with its beach access, fishing, and scenic trails. Our stay was very nice. The condo was great. We think the realty company needs to update some its info though. The portal said we had to return parking permits. The permits said they could be tossed. We saw a trash schedule but not being familiar with the area, we still weren’t sure which day was trash day in our area. Clear directions regarding trash and departure procedures should be posted in the condo. I also didn’t like having to log into a portal to get all the info. I’m 40 and didn’t like it so I can’t imagine seniors would like a portal. Just post up to date info in the actual unit.

This condo was clean, had comfortable beds, was in a great location, and was only a few steps away from the beach. Being able to leave our umbrellas and beach chairs in the carport was a huge plus for us so we didn’t have to haul them up the steps and drag extra sand into the condo. We would definitely stay here again and only experienced minor inconveniences - We did not like having to pick parking passes up at the realty company and we could not access any streaming services on the TV in the living room. There were 4-5 remote controls and only some had batteries. The info in the condo on the tv and accessing the WiFi were out of date.

My family and I had a wonderful time in unit 1504 at Ocean Dunes. We have stayed in beachfront hotels in Myrtle Beach before and wanted to try the laid back feel of Kure Beach . Access to the beach was just a few steps away. Grocery stores were ten minutes away, and so were all the touristy types of activities.
The kitchen had an abundance of cookware and utensils for us to use . The washer/dryer combo was a nice feature ( it washes and drys).
My wife and I shared the master bedroom. Our two older girls shared the queen bedroom and our youngest slept in the living room ( when she didn’t sneak into our bed ) . There was still plenty of space for us .
There are minor blemishes on things such as rusty HVAC vents and small furniture stains . We don’t mind these things as salty air makes everything rust eventually and lived in houses have stains . Perfect place for a family to spend a week . Thanks !

This was our first time visiting Kure Beach. We normally go to North Myrtle Beach but wanted something a little less commercialized. Kure Beach and this condo were exactly what we were looking for. When they say oceanfront, they mean oceanfront. I don’t think it was possible to get any closer to the ocean. We loved it! It was a peaceful week but there was also plenty of things to do. We weren’t able to get everything in so we plan on coming back again next year!

We were very satisfied with 1504 Ocean Dunes condo. The owner could provide more dish towels and dish rags. There not enough blankets for all the beds during a winter stay
