My husband and I have stayed at Granny's Place a few times now. We just love Kure Beach. The house upon arrival makes you feel like home. So many of the surrounding homes have lost the old charm they used to have with modern buildings, but Granny's Place still gives you that welcoming feel. The view from the house and convenience of the beach was fantastic. We woke up each morning to a beautiful sunrise with our coffee. Ended each day with a gorgeous Sunset. So many games inside to enjoy also on a rainy day. The kitchen was very spacious and the home would be perfect for us to return again with family. We plan to do so this Summer. So many local spots to enjoy . Some of our favorites were The Veggie Wagon (best latte on the Island). You also must grab dinner at Freddy's. Granny's Place was the perfect spot for our getaway. We definitely plan to return.

We stayed at Granny’s Place for a family getaway, and it was everything we hoped for. A perfect cottage where you can feel the love that has been shared there. The oceanfront views from the large deck are spectacular—perfect for morning coffee or watching the sunset. Having a private beach walkway made it so easy to go back and forth between the house and the sand without any hassle. The layout with 4 bedrooms, one has 2 sets of bunk beds, gave everyone their own space. The large kitchen was well-stocked for big family dinners at the dining room table and cozy couch and chairs to curl up in, in the evening. Great proximity to the Carolina Beach boardwalk and Kure Beach attractions. You must visit the Veggie Wagon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!

This is my favorite beach getaway place. I absolutely love that its beach front. It's really convenient when vacationing with children to easily access the house for lunch or a snack or a quick rest without loading up a car or a wagon. It's close to Kure and Carolina beach pier - with places to eat and shop. But when you are on the back deck or on the ocean it is so peaceful. The beds are comfortable and plenty of room to play card games and good kitchen space to prepare a family meal. Grannys Place is a gem!
