Welcome to Southpark by the Sea. If watching the sunrise is in your plan, you will be thrilled to have an easy 50-yard walk to the ocean. This home away from home has two decks for enjoying morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening after a fun day at the beach. You are a few steps from watching the fish boats depart or arrive and dock with the fresh catches of the day. This home has all the amenities for a comfortable stay at the beach and is within walking distance to the Carolina Beach boardwalk, downtown activities, and restaurants. You literally do not need to get in your car once you arrive!! If you prefer to stay in and cook, you will be pleased with the quantity and quality of kitchen dishes and utensils. Spend the evening in the homey living room watching TV, reading a book, or listening to music. This three-bedroom condo has a new mattress in every bedroom! This condo was purchased for me, my wife, children, and grandkids to have a place to go to relax, enjoy quality family time and build lasting memories for generations to come. "This was our first trip to Carolina Beach, and somewhat of a last minute trip for our family of four. We really loved this place! Location (while not ocean front) was the next best thing. It was tucked between the beach and canal, so it was a very short walk to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. Pleasant views from front and back porches of the canal and beach. We had two reserved onsite spaces for parking, which is a hot commodity on the island.
The home was very clean and updated, just like the photos in the listing. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it was well-stocked. Bathrooms, washer/dryer, and beds were great too. There were some stains on the carpeting and bedspreads, but everything was clean. (Clean is a HUGE deal for me!)
Communications, including check in and checkout were great - very clear, friendly, and responsive hosts.
We loved our visit, this property, and the host! Hoping to visit again soon!"
